Hello 2021. We’re very excited about the year ahead. CEEK is already off to a great start with more amazing partnerships, events, content and much more to unpack over the next few months.
CEEK is a streaming platform for virtual events and Virtual Reality experiences featuring the biggest names in music, sports and entertainment from around the globe. Our mission is enabling content creators to directly generate revenue from a global audience on multiple devices including VR Headsets, Smart TVs, gaming consoles, mobile and desktop devices.
We do so by enabling the tokenization of smart tickets for content creators, that track and verify ticket sales on the CEEK blockchain. This ensures royalty payouts to creators through immutable data on a ledger. CEEK brings real world value and adoption to blockchain and decentralized finance (DEFI).
We are reaching audiences in new ways as we continue to build the CEEK blockchain integration to empower music artists and content creators globally with the tools to transparently and reliably generate revenue from their fanbase.
2020 was a year of reflection, uncertainty and strife for many. It was the beginning of the digital migration, where companies and people realized that the new normal for the foreseeable future is virtual. The shift in many industries particularly with entertainment, business and education has happened. Businesses finally realized that employees could work remotely and still be productive, with companies like Facebook, Microsoft and Twitter going to long term remote work.
Touring is the lifeblood of the music industry, and with most tours still cancelled, our mission at CEEK has never been more important than at this time when artists and their crews are looking for new virtual means to sustain their livelihood.
Artists like BTS, Bon Jovi and Ziggy Marley had millions of fans joining their livestreams from around the globe. Some artists were able to generate in a single livestream what they needed multiple tour stops to make physically — validating CEEK’s mission of providing music artists and event organizers the ability to extend their reach globally through virtual reality, streaming concerts and events.
CEEK 2020 Content Highlights
In 2020, CEEK was full of groundbreaking content spanning from music to comedy to sports. Some highlights included behind-the-scenes, live music concerts and exclusive interviews with global superstars like Demi Lovato, Bon Jovi, Ziggy Marley and the first Dwyane Wade all virtual reality Sports Camp. Press highlights included features in People Magazine, Rolling Stone, The NME, YAHOO!, and Forbes. CEEK Founder Mary Spio was featured on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine alongside Magic Johnson, Zoom Founder Eric Yuan and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.
Thanks to the Ziggy Marley Bob Marley 75th Birthday Tribute produced and distributed by CEEK; we had the biggest livestream of 2020 according to Billboard. With 9.4 Million views in 24 hours.
CEEK hosted its first a first-of-its-kind, virtual reality livestream comedy festival with iconic comedian D.L. Hughley, CEEK VR presents: The Laugh Experience.

In 2020 “I’m taking by talents to CEEK” became the mantra for virtual concerts and events. The groundbreaking announcement by the 3x NBA Champion Dwyane Wade on his social media kicked off the first edition of his long standing camp exclusively on www.ceek.com and the #ceekvr app. The camp features the likes of Dwyane Wade, Candance Parker, Cheyenne Parker, Cappie Pondexter, Monique Billing, CJ McCollum, Andrew Wiggins and Collin Sexton.
Bon Jovi — The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and his award-winning band sat down for an exclusive interview with CEEK along with a one-of-a-kind special performance of their new songs.

International icon Sarkodie’s Black Love #VirtualConcert literally brought the house down with millions of Sark Natives flocking to CEEK to support the legend. MTV called his bigger than life opening atop Ghana’s Black Star monument cinematic. Black Love Virtual Concert left an indelible mark on 2020 and forever raised the bar for virtual performances everywhere.
Demi Lovato — The “I love me” singer gave her millions of lovatics around the world plenty to love with her super behind the scenes on the set of her groundbreaking music video, along with her sit-down interview with CEEK.
Ringo Starr — In 2020 one of the world’s favorite Beatles turned 80. For his intergalactic worldwide celebration Ringo Starr got a little help from his famous friends including fellow Beatles Sir Paul McCartney, Ben Harper, Joe Walsh, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., Dave Grohl and Sheila E. The birthday celebration went virtual on #CEEK along with rare performances and a phenomenal 360 interview with Sir Ringo as he discussed his support for Black Lives Matter, Water Charity and others.
International Sports — CEEK teamed up with one of Africa’s largest soccer club — Asante Kotoko, this further fortified our entry into international sports. CEEK previously teamed with Real Madrid’s right back, Danny Carvajal. This year CEEK will be broadcasting more international games including Champion’s League and English Premiere League games, training sessions and more. We will also livestream reginal and local games to fans around the world willing to pay for live games that cannot otherwise be accessed internationally.
CEEK Wellness — We continue to hear from frontline workers who are using the CEEK VR app for meditative experiences to assist in coping with the battle against COVID-19. We are offering a 15% discount to nurses and other frontline workers.

This year, CEEK rang in the new year with more from the Bob Marley’s 75th birthday celebration featuring the Grammy winning global icon Stephen Marley.

In addition to music, CEEK will be teaming up with elite athletes and hosting the iconic TEDx Talks on the platform. The events market is a $1.1 Trillion business with no clear VR leaders. We are working with multiple events partners to enable decentralization within this field in VR and on the blockchain.
Distribution of content will continue through multiple following avenues. 360VR experiences are available on CEEK platform, iOS, Android, Facebook Oculus, HTC, etc., and can also be viewed through CEEK’s mobile Virtual Reality headset. Anyone without a VR headset can also easily access CEEK’s content on desktops, laptops, and tablets via www.ceek.com.
With millions in opportunities in the pipeline, we anticipate an exponential increase in traffic. We’re undergoing an infrastructure overhaul to accommodate scaling to millions of users. We’ve added several software developers, dev ops, data scientists and operations team members to support these and other updates.
This year’s livestreams will primarily be paid ticketed events with verification using the CEEK token. There are ongoing developments, optimizations and several innovative features planned for release this year to improve and increase community, interactivity and engagement.
